Pre Reqs:

Attendance of Thunder Ranch Urban Rifle-Night Vision or its equivalent from a reputable source  (TNVC, DARC, Amtac, Tap Rack Tactical, MIL/LE Experience etc.) This will be judged on a case by case basis.

What to Bring

  • Bump or Ballistic Helmet with Night Vision Mount (skull crusher or night cap is ok.)
  • Rifle with sling, optic, white light, IR laser/Illuminator
  • Quality Head Mounted Night Vision Device
  • NOMINAL 1000 Rounds (frangible ammo is NOT required)
  • Minimum 6x Rifle Magazine
  • Handheld white light
  • Ear Protection
  • Clear Eye Protection
  • Weather Appropriate Clothing
  • 3 Visible Chem Sticks (any color)
  • Additional Recommended Equipment:
  • Knee(highly encouraged)/Elbow Pads-We recommend pants with built in knee pads i.e. Crye Precision etc. 
  • Helmet mounted IR and Visible Light
  • Head Lamp
  • Sturdy shoes or boots for austere terrain
  • Handgun with Retention Holster, red dot, weapon light or weapon mounted IR illuminator/laser.

Ammunition Requirements

  • 1000 rounds non-frangible rifle ammo.
  • 200 rounds handgun ammo-non frangible.
  • (NO ARMOR PIERCING ROUNDS)

Travel Reminder When traveling with suppressors and short-barreled rifles (SBRs), ensure you carry the appropriate documentation at all times, especially in case of police stops.
